New Zealand’s First Saint in the Making

The Cause for the beatification of Suzanne Aubert continues.

“The good news is that we do have a remarkable cure of a young mother, and that is why we have just undertaken a formal diocesan inquiry,” the latest Suzanne Aubert News reports.

This process began when the Sisters of Compassion were informed that a person had been cured of a serious illness, through, they believe, the intercession of the Venerable Suzanne Aubert.

All statements and evidence have now been sent to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome – so keep praying for the recognition of a miracle, which would open the way for Pope Francis to authorise the Beatification of Venerable Suzanne Aubert.

Follow the Footsteps through Aotearoa campaign as the Sisters of Compassion continue to raise awareness of Venerable Mother Aubert’s deep and lively spirituality and her remarkable work with the poor and marginalised throughout New Zealand in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
