To help us prepare our hearts to celebrate our Lord’s birth (Advent) and to remember His Passion and Resurrection (Lent), the parish organises specific donation drives in support of Catholic Social Services (CSS).

Advent

During Advent, we usually ask for food donations to provide Christmas hampers for clients of CSS. Every year we have a different target group to support depending on the needs of CSS’s current clients.

Lent

During Lent, we run our pyjama drive as we head into winter. We warmly welcome donations of new winter pyjamas, warm socks, dressing gowns, hot water bottles etc. We give these items to CSS who distribute them to families in need at Easter.
